1. Day Safaris: Getting to the Day Safari Welcome Centre at Amakhala Game Reserve from Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha):

- Follow the N2 towards Grahamstown for approximately 60 km.
- Pass the R342 turn-off to Paterson and continue for about 2 km.
- About 1 km before the R342 Karel Landman turn-off on your right, look for the entrance gate at Leeuwenbosch Country House. Enter through this gate.
- Park on the grass to the left — our friendly staff will meet you there and guide you to the Day Safari Welcome Centre (ARCC).

2. Water Experience Only: Getting to the meeting point at Amakhala Game Reserve from Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha):

- Follow the N2 from Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha towards Grahamstown/Makhanda for approximately 60–65 km.
- Do not take the R342 turn-off to Paterson. Continue on the N2.
- The right-hand turn onto the R342 is approximately 3 km further along the N2.
- Turn RIGHT onto the R342 towards Alexandria (Karl Landman Monument). This is the entrance to Hlosi and Bukela Game Lodges.
- Proceed through the security gate and leave your vehicle at the designated parking area at the main gate. Your driver will meet you here and transfer you to the Bushman’s River boat site.
