Bushman’s River Boat Cruise Itinerary

- Arrive 1 hour before your booked time slot at the main gate on the R342, the entrance to Hlosi and Bukela Game Lodges. You will leave your vehicle at the main gate, where your driver will meet you. This allows sufficient time for check-in, orientation and to meet your ranger before departing for your safari experience.
- Enjoy a 30-minute guided game-drive transfer from the gate to the Bushman’s River boat site, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.
- Set off on a 1-hour scenic boat cruise along the Bushman’s River, taking in the beautiful riverbanks, diverse landscapes and abundant birdlife.
- Enjoy a 30-minute guided game-drive transfer from the boat site back to the main gate, with another opportunity to spot wildlife along the way.

Important Information: Please arrive 1 hour before your booked time slot for check-in, to meet your ranger and for a brief orientation before departing for the Bushman’s River boat site. The main gate is located on the R342 towards Alexandria (Karl Landman Monument). Please leave your vehicle at the designated parking area, where your driver will meet you for the transfer to the boat site. Transfers depart promptly at the scheduled time and cannot wait for late arrivals.
